The Immovable Asset Management Program provides participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in immovable asset management. It encompasses critical areas, enhances overall management capabilities, and underscores the legal obligations pertinent to professionals across public, state-owned entities ,and private sector entities.

The objective is to empower delegates with the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful as immovable asset managers and to equip participants with the strategic, technical, and operational skills necessary for effective asset, property, and facilities management within the built environment, with a focus on sustainable practices, risk management, and adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks specific to the South African context. This objective encapsulates the course’s comprehensive approach, blending management skills with practical knowledge in sustainability, risk, and regulatory compliance.
After completion of this course delegates will have an enhanced understanding of assess and lifecycle management, have strategic knowledge of the built environment and property development. Delegates will also be proficient in asset data and information management and risk and performance management in asset management. Delegates will also have an understanding of legal and operational framework in property management. The successful delegates should be able to develop an IAM practice guide that details the required knowledge content of IAM and take-up a position as an immovable asset manager, or allied positions, or as service providers.
