Overview The Property Development Programme (PDP) at Career Excel Academy (CEA) is a comprehensive, five-day certificate programme aimed at equipping built environment practitioners with the essential knowledge and practical skills required for success in the property development sector. Presented at an NQF 5 level (equivalent to the first year of university), this intensive course provides a deep dive into the key principles, processes, and practices that drive successful property development projects.
Programme Objective The PDP aims to introduce learners to the fundamental knowledge that underpins property development. Participants will explore topics such as land development, green building, feasibility studies, cash flow analysis, financial calculations, property law, health and safety, and property marketing. The objective is to create a strong foundational knowledge base while enabling practical and financial analysis skills essential for informed decision-making and effective participation in the property industry.
