We are introducing a blended approach that combines the benefits of online learning with the engaging elements of live interaction, on a weekend basis for the busy working professional. The proposed format features live online sessions alongside interactive online materials and activities. This approach retains the structure and personal connection of face-to-face programmes while offering the convenience and accessibility of online learning.
The objective is to empower delegates with the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful as immovable asset managers and to equip participants with the strategic, technical, and operational skills necessary for effective asset, property, and facilities management within the built environment, with a focus on sustainable practices, risk management, and adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks specific to the South African context.

⏳ 5-Week Weekender Learning
Combines 4 Saturday online classes (08:15–14:00) with interactive online materials, self-study, and 5 weekly practical assignments submitted every Saturday.

Mr Karel Oberholzer
A property development specialist with over two decades of experience in banking and construction. Currently a director at Innovative Consolidated Group, he previously held senior roles at Bigen Group and Calgro M3, managing complex residential life cycles. His expertise includes 14 years at FNB, where he led advanced analytics. Academically, Karel holds an honours degree in Urban Geography and an MBA. This combination of analytical mastery and leadership in the built environment provides students with a commercially grounded perspective on property management.
Prof. Chris Cloete
HOD (Property Development) at Career Excel Academy and a distinguished academic who previously held the SACSC Chair in Shopping Centre Studies. With a PhD and an MBL, he developed South Africa’s first MSc (Real Estate) degree and has authored 11 books on property. His extensive professional leadership includes serving as Past President of the Institute of Property Practitioners of SA and past national councillor of SAPOA. Beyond his academic contributions, he has managed the development and marketing of residential schemes, retirement villages, and medical centres, and was the first in Africa named an Eminent Member of the RICS.

Registration covers attendance of all sessions, as well as all programme material. Closing date for registration is one week prior to the start of the programme.
